Some Sheffield Wednesday fans have been left to slam one of the club’s posts about their striker Jordan Rhodes.
Rhodes turned 30 today and the former Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town striker was wished well on Sheffield Wednesday’s Twitter account.
Should Rhodes leave Sheffield Wednesday?
Yes, shouldn't be a question
He can be a squad player
When the club posted the birthday message for the striker, it left many Owls fans fuming. They didn’t want the club to wish the player on his birthday.
Somebody let him know in case he misses it

Wednesday signed Rhodes, who is valued at £2.7 million (as per Transfermarkt), in the winter of 2017 from the current Championship side Middlesbrough on an initial loan deal with the before joining that summer on a permanent deal worth £10m.
But his stint at Hillsborough hasn’t been too impressive so far. This season, he has made 15 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has a tally of only three goals and all three of them have come in the Championship.
Last season had seen Rhodes spend time on loan at Norwich City, who are now a Premier League side. He had made 40 appearances in all competitions for Daniel Farke’s men, scoring nine times for them.
What do we think?
The aforementioned numbers show that Rhodes’ goalscoring numbers have come down over the years and that isn’t a good sign for the Owls. The fact that all three of his goals this season came in one game is an alarming situation for Garry Monk’s men. They need to move Rhodes on as soon as possible.
