Many Rangers fans have been left dejected after they watched their side lose 2-1 to Kilmarnock last night. In their last six games, Steven Gerrard’s side have failed to win three. This has resulted in an eight-point loss in the league, leaving them sat 10 points behind their rivals with a game in hand.
After the match, fans turned on Gerrard, questioning his ability to get the most out of his players. They also think that he was tactically inept during the game. They claim he has been fairly backed by the board, but admit that his in-game substitutions aren’t good enough.

I’ve been loathe to criticise Gerrard too much, but I really think tonight he bottled it with his lack of game changing subs & acceptance of what was happening in front of him way before the equaliser.

Others think he gets away with too much because of who he is. They reckon any other manager would have been hounded out ages ago. One fan doesn’t think Gerrard is a true Rangers man, claiming they should replace him.

What do we think?
Gerrard must certainly take some of the blame for the last few weeks of bad football results. If he can rescue the league after the period he has had recently, then it would be an incredible effort. Unfortunately, we think it is too little too late.
