Nobody could blame Rangers fans for feeling frustrated with the players and manager after yesterday’s 2-2 draw against St. Johnstone.
It was the Gers’ fourth winless game of 2020, which has resulted in them dropping 10 points in the league since the beginning of the new year.
The Gers are now 12 points behind Celtic making a comeback unlikely at this stage. The dropping of points adds more pressure as the side head to Braga this Wednesday. A decent cup run in the UEFA Europa League could be a way for Steven Gerrard to win back the trust of the fans.
However, while fans were critical of many Gers players after the match, there were one or two who the fans applauded. According to some fans, Joe Aribo, who is valued at £1.17 million (as per Transfermarkt), has been on fire recently. The player scored Rangers’ second goal yesterday, and also scored in their incredible comeback against Braga last week. Although, some had negative things to say about him.

Is Joe Aribo the Gers' most in-form player at the moment?
Yes
No
Yet, while others admit that he received passing marks, some were far from happy.
So barasic was a major big player before he came to rangers – NO
Hagi is a player everybody in Europe is chasing is he – NO he can’t get a game for Genk
Kent And Defoe I’ve agreed that Gerrard name probs attracted them
Aribo again I don’t believe that he is a big name player

One player? Except fpor Arfield, Aribo, Hagi and McGregor they have all been a disgrace since the break and the management as well. I do not recognise what i am watching now compared to December. I have never seen this before. There has to be a reason for so many been so poor.

Last summers recruitment was very poor, how many of them play much? Aribo maybe but he is below par. No leadership on the park, date I say it without abuse, we need a Briwn type figure! The original post was pretty much near the mark in assessment.

What do we think?
Aribo’s passing marks from some fans could be a result of him being compared to the players around him. If this is the case, then the standard hasn’t been very high. This is evident by the fans reactions above.
So, like Gerrard, the players have an opportunity on Wednesday to prove to the fans exactly why they are worth keeping around.
