Fans of QPR have been reacting on Twitter to their side’s resilient 0-0 draw at promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest this Saturday.
QPR went into the match occupying 16th place in the Championship table, 11 points above the relegation zone and 11 points below the play-off positions.
The Hoops started slowly, and their opponents were unfortunate not to take the lead after 12 minutes, as a Joe Worrall header was ruled out due to Joe Lolley delivering a moving ball from his corner.
QPR survived further scares before the break, with Liam Kelly displaying superb reactions to tip Samba Sow’s goalbound strike over the crossbar, as Lewis Grabban and Joe Lolley also spurned chances.
Despite the majority of chances falling to Forest, QPR reached half time with their clean sheet intact, and after the break, the R’s began to impose themselves on the game.
After good combination play between Ryan Manning and Marc Pugh, Manning saw his eventual shot saved by the Forest ‘keeper.
QPR then went close again as Eberechi Eze’s free-kick grazed the side-netting.
The game then became stretched in the closing stages, as both sides pressed for a winner, however, neither succeeded, and QPR emerged from the encounter with a well-earned point.
Fans of the Hoops took to social media in reaction to the result, with many praising their side for the battling display.
? We’ll take a point.

What do we think?
Although QPR rode their luck at times against Forest, the Hoops fully deserved their point.
Even more impressive is that considering the Hoops’ 58 goals conceded ranks as the joint second-worst in the league, the 0-0 draw at Forest was their second clean sheet in their last three games, a sign things are moving in the right direction for Mark Warburton’s side.
