Fans of Nottingham Forest have been discussing on social media how they would rate Adama Diakhaby’s time at the club so far.

Diakhaby, who joined Forest on a loan deal from Huddersfield Town in January, has featured in seven games for the Reds so far this year.

However, the former French U21 international has only started in two of his seven appearances and is yet to make a significant impact for Forest, having failed to score or provide an assist in his 256 minutes played, while averaging a less than impressive WhoScored match rating of 6.28.

Indeed, it was a similar story for the attacking left-winger while at Huddersfield earlier this season, once again failing to score in 18 league appearances for the Terriers, and averaging a 6.56 WhoScored match rating.

It is apparent that Forest fans are less than impressed with Diakhaby and have taken to social media in reaction to a post by City Ground HQ, which asked what Reds fans thought of the Frenchman’s impact at the club so far.

What do we think?

Although Diakhaby provides Sabri Lamouchi with an option from the bench, at present, it appears that is all he will ever be in his time at Forest.

In the games that Lamouchi has started the 23-year-old, the Reds have lost 1-0 at home to Charlton and drawn 0-0 with QPR, also at the City Ground.

If the £5.4 million-rated Diakhaby is to have any hopes of Forest attempting to make his deal a permanent one, he will certainly have to up his performances over the last 11 games of the season.
