The now 55-year-old joined Leeds in the summer of 1989 from Wimbledon for a fee of £694k (per Transfermarkt). Despite leaving the Yorkshire club to make a move to Sheffield United in Septemeber 1990, it appears that Jones left a lasting impression on these Leeds fans. This latest post on the midfielder led to a lot of Leeds fans sharing their thoughts and positive feelings on their former man.
It’s a pity he didn’t stay too long what a great character

What do we think?
The footage of Jones chatting with the fans at Leeds is very heartwarming to see. It’s also great that so many Leeds fans still have positive opinions on the midfielder after only spending a year at the club.
