Former Leeds United defender Lucas Radebe has taken to social media to express his excitement regarding what this season could bring for the club. The Whites currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot and following some favourable results at the weekend, have a three-point cushion between themselves and Fulham in third.
These fans have reacted to their former star’s tweet.

What do we think?
Lucas Radebe is regarded by these supporters as a Leeds United legend. The South African defender made 235 appearances for the club which includes eight in the Champions League – something nobody who has represented the club in a long time can boast.
Radebe arrived from the Kaizer Chiefs for a fee of £338k (as per Transfermarkt) and went on to retire at Elland Road. There is a long way to go before anybody can celebrate the club’s return to the Premier League, but there is no doubt that under the stewardship of Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds United are on the up – that’s evidenced by their current position.
Reading come to Elland Road at the weekend as the Peacocks look to take another step towards promotion.
