What do we think?
The former Leeds star was taken ‘seriously ill’ and had to undergo surgery on a brain tumour as recently as November. The former Scotland international made 142 appearances for Leeds United between August 2000 and July 2004. At the time of his arrival, the club paid £6.41m to sign him from Liverpool (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Having been faced with such a difficult battle regarding his health it’s great to see the former defender back where he belongs in and amongst his adoring fans.
