Leeds United face play-off hopefuls Bristol City at Elland Road this Saturday as they look to consolidate their place in one of the automatic promotion spots. The Whites travelled to London in midweek when they took on Brentford and earned themselves a point, which was enough to hold off both Nottingham Forest and Fulham who slipped up in their respective fixtures.
Things are extremely tight at the top of the Championship, with three points separating Marcelo Bielsa’s side in second and Lee Johnson’s Bristol City in seventh place. Whilst there is much optimism regarding Leeds’ promotion chances, there are those that have made the observation that if results were to go against them, they could find themselves further down the table by the end of the weekend.
Will Leeds United earn automatic promotion this season?

What do we think?
The Leeds United fans have every right to feel positive heading into the remaining 14 games of the season, but things could have been a lot more comfortable had they managed more than just a solitary win in their last six Championship fixtures.
