Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United are on a poor run of form that threatens to cost them their place in the Premier League next season if they don’t put it right soon.
The promotion hopefuls have won just one of their last six league fixtures, and during that time, Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Brentford have all closed the gap on the top two and stand a great chance of overtaking the Whites as we head into the business end of the season.
Is Bielsa responsible for Leeds United's decline?
Yes
No
Bielsa’s side travel down to London on Tuesday night to face an in-form Brentford side at Griffin Park who currently sit just two points behind them. With that in mind, and emotions after the Nottingham Forest defeat at the weekend still running high, some fans have taken to social media calling on the 64-year-old to resign if he fails to deliver promotion.
Walk and keep walking…keep to your norm as you have done with every European club failure (that’s is every time you managed in Europe).

Time to go I reckon, he’s taken us as far as he’s ever going to take us, teams all know how to play Leeds now because they know we are going to go all out and attack so they just sit back defend deep and hit on the counter attack, we need a change now

Always been an admirer of Bielsa, but don’t win against Brentford on Tuesday, he has to walk surely? Most normal managers would be having pressure for them to go by now

Fighting talk isn’t going to solve the problems-the same things happen week in week out-the season’s decline is shocking.

He usually walks away when the going gets tough, he’s walked everywhere else ????

What do we think?
In our view, Marcelo Bielsa is a man very set in his ways, therefore despite some fans calling for players like Patrick Bamford and Kiko Casilla to be dropped, that will be unlikely to influence the former Argentina boss’ decision, with that particular duo missing one league game between them. Tuesday night’s game at Brentford will no doubt be a challenging fixture and one that if the Whites were to lose, would see them fall out of the automatic promotion places.
