A lot of Leeds United fans have responded angrily to Andrea Radrizzani’s tweet, which was just a GIF of people applauding in response to one Leeds supporter who called for the fans to stick behind the team.
This was in response to the Whites’ latest setback as they were beaten 1-0 by Wigan Athletic, and some fans saw that result as the final straw.
Was there any need for this tweet from Radrizzani?
Yes, it shows he cares
No, just insulted some fans
However, did Radrizzani really need to tweet this GIF? These Leeds fans certainly didn’t think so.

Your frustrations with our reactions is no different to ours with the loss yesterday Andrea, this tweet is akin to us tweeting after we lose.

Embarrassing

No need for this. We all have our right to be frustrated. You may have invested some money into the club. But you haven’t invested your heart year after year feeling all the highs and lows. It’s hard not to panic we are all desperate not to see a repeat of last season.

Yeh this will get the fans on side ????

Personally, I don’t see what’s funny Radz.

I get your the owner man. But don’t disrespect the fans. All we want at the end of the day is to see our team perform and get to the premiership. Whether your there or not we don’t care.

Pipe down – we as fans have always been there tell the players to pull their socks up and Bielsa to change things up once in a while.

What do we think?
Radrizzani backed Marcelo Bielsa in January by bringing in the two players that the Argentine wanted, but this result on Saturday was poor, so fans are allowed to be annoyed at losing to a team who are in the relegation zone.
So, this tweet from the owner seems a bit unnecessary and has just caused him to receive some backlash when perhaps the best thing would have been to keep his mouth shut.
