Fulham’s hopes of achieving automatic promotion were dealt a huge blow at the weekend when they suffered an embarrassing home defeat courtesy of relegation-fighting Barnsley. The Tykes scored three goals at Craven Cottage without reply, and two of those came from Cauley Woodrow – who made 66 appearances for the West Londoners.
Scott Parker, as per BBC Sport, said: “I am shocked, I am bitterly disappointed, I am gutted. I didn’t see it coming.” The 39-year-old’s side have won just two of their last five Championship fixtures, therefore, failing to take full advantage of Leeds United’s struggles of late.
Should Scott Parker be sacked?

What do we think?
We believe very few would have seen that result coming and whilst it came as a shock to Parker, he must take some responsibility for the way his team performed. Perhaps the frustration stems from the fact the Cottagers take on Preston North End, Bristol City, Brentford and Leeds United in their next six fixtures – therefore failing to win at home versus the bottom side feels like a glorious opportunity missed.
