Some Celtic fans have been reacting to the appearance that Marian Shved made for the club against Clyde in the Scottish Cup recently.
Celtic marched into the quarter-finals of the competition recently, beating Clyde 3-0 away from home. Scott Brown was on the scoresheet, while Olivier Ntcham and Vakoun Issouf Bayo scored a goal each for the Hoops.
Should Shved play more?
He deserves to play more
Not yet, Lennon knows best
But one moment from the game left many Hoops fans chirping. Shved came on late in the second half to play the last few minutes. When the Hoops’ Twitter account posted about the substitution, many Celtic fans made their opinions known about the move.

Before featuring in the game against Clyde, Shved had played a total of 35 minutes in all competitions for the Parkhead-based side, appearing just twice in all competitions prior to this weekend. One of them came in the Champions League qualifying stages, while the other came in the Premiership earlier in the season.
The winger joined the club from Ukrainian outfit Karpaty Lviv in the winter of 2019, before moving back to the club for the rest of the 2018/19 season.
What do we think?
Recently, Neil Lennon made public comments about Shved and had revealed why he was struggling to settle in. Lennon had revealed that Shved has ‘struggled with English’ and he wasn’t at the level of the rest of the players in the side.
But his appearance against Clyde suggests that Lennon is very much keen on integrating the player into the first team. The process may be slow, but it seems there is life in Shved’s Celtic career.
