Some Celtic fans have reacted to one moment from Patryk Klimala’s first start for the club against Clyde in the Scottish Cup.
Klimala made his first start for the Hoops at the weekend, featuring in the club’s 3-0 win over the Scottish League One side. He had also played in the side’s win over Partick Thistle in the previous round of the competition. The quarter-final will see Celtic face St. Johnstone away from home.
Will Klimala be a success at Celtic?
No question about it
I don't think so
One moment from the Clyde win got Celtic fans talking. Klimala had missed a chance to score and it caught the eye of these fans…
Let me fix that for you. “Bad execution denies Klimala a goal on his full debut!”

Anywhere but right at the keeper, but that’s who everyone wanted starting today……

Should’ve went round the keeper.

Give the BHOY a chance it’s his first game he’s started and done pretty well in those horrible conditions he will come good given games

Celtic signed Klimala from Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok in the winter transfer window for a £3.5 million fee. His first-team debut for the club came in their 2-1 win over Partick Thistle, when he came on for the last 11 minutes of the game.
He has already made a couple of appearances for the club in the Premiership, coming on from the bench against St. Johnstone and Motherwell.
What do we think?
While Celtic fans can criticise Klimala’s inability to score, his time from Jagiellonia shows that he can put away chances at a decent rate. His goals-per-game ratio in Poland this season stood at 0.41, considering he scored seven times in 17 league games.
There may be need for patience, as there is every chance Klimala comes good at Celtic.
