Some Celtic fans have been raving about the latest tweet that Chris Sutton has put out in praise of the club’s players.
Sutton’s latest tweet hailed Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths after both players grabbed a goal each against Kilmarnock in the Premiership on Sunday. This helped the side to a 3-1 win over Killie and open up a 12-point lead at the top of the league.
Did you ever doubt Leigh Griffiths?
Never, always believed in him
I did doubt him
Sutton’s tweet left Celtic fans raving. They were happy with what the club legend had to say and they seconded his opinions on the thriving partnership between Edouard and Griffiths.
Long may it continue

Griffiths has scored eight times in all competitions in 27 games for the club. As for Edouard, the Frenchman has scored 25 goals and has a tally of 17 assists in all competitions for the Hoops. In the Premiership, the former Paris Saint-Germain man has directly contributed to 30 goals.
What do we think?
Edouard’s numbers speak for themselves and interest from Leicester City and Monaco shows that he is no stranger to attention. As for Griffiths, he’s fought back from mental health issues last year to have scored four league goals in 2020 already.
Sutton’s praise is certainly deserved for both of them.
