Some Celtic fans have been lauding the latest Twitter post of their former player and Preston winger Scott Sinclair.
Preston signed Sinclair in the January transfer window from Celtic, where Sinclair’s contract was ending in the summer. The Englishman signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at Deepdale and took the No.31 shirt for the Championship side.
Were Celtic wrong to sell Sinclair?
He deserves to stay
We were right to sell him
Sinclair recently scored a goal for Preston against Swansea, helping the side to a 1-1 draw. He posted about it after the game and many Celtic fans hijacked the post to make their opinions about the player clear.
Saw your goal big fella. Made me smile to see you happy again. Love you xx

Celtic signed Sinclair from then-Championship side Aston Villa in the summer of 2016, penning a four-year contract at the club.
Before leaving for Preston, Sinclair had become an outcast earlier this season. He had made only seven appearances in all competitions for the club in 2019/20. He had scored only two goals for them, with one coming in the Champions League qualifying rounds and another coming in the League Cup.
Last season for the Hoops, he was a regular for the club. He had made 55 appearances in all competitions, scoring 17 goals and picking up five assists.
What do we think?
Celtic fans are right to hail Sinclair. He made 167 appearances for the club, scoring 62 goals and getting 34 assists. Numbers like that deserve respect and recognition.
