Some Celtic fans have been left fuming at an image from the club’s 3-1 defeat to Copenhagen in the UEFA Europa League.
The Hoops got knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday, going out on a 4-2 aggregate scoreline. This was their first loss of 2020.
Hoops-related page @Moravcik67_ posted an image from the game, showing an image of a passage of play seconds before the Danish side got their second goal.
Was the Copenhagen loss down to Lennon's errors?
Yes, I'd blame him
No, it is on the players
With the ball in the defensive area, Christopher Jullien would pass the ball to Tom Rogic, whose poor control saw their opponents break with Celtic’s left-sided players out of position as the Danish side edged back in front. An image prior to Copenhagen’s second goal left many Hoops fans raging.
They score from that and we miss from this. Thats why we are out, decision making has to be spot on at that level. pic.twitter.com/7vYvH3Ea4H

This is on Lennon. He needs to organise the team.
You can clearly see Copenhagen perfectly set up to make us punt it and quickly counter. Bitton should have (started tbh) been on for Rogic at half time. Bitton and Brown in front of the CBs protecting them and offering a pass.

His fellow CB is telling him to put it right! Unbelievable decision to play into the middle. pic.twitter.com/Q8af6yVzX2

What goes through your head at 1-1 to want to attempt this pass? Baffling

That’s embarrassing

Naive and lacked composure or experience, absolute amateur hour just like cluj

What do we think?
While Celtic fans have every right to be angry at how things unfolded in the last few minutes of the game, they need to move on from the loss. There is a Premiership title to be won and that should become their main target now. They are 12 points clear of Rangers at the top of the table.
