Some Celtic fans have been left angry by Mark Schwarzer’s comments about why Tom Rogic should leave the club soon.
Fellow Australian Schwarzer was recently talking to Optus Sport’s Two Sharp Reds podcast and suggested that Rogic isn’t ‘tested enough’ at Celtic. The former goalkeeper said that this was down to ‘the opposition they play enough every week’. He also went onto say that Rogic will be ‘tested more’ in the Bundesliga and that it is ‘perfect’ for the midfielder.
Is Rogic good enough for Celtic now?
Yes, he is still a good player
No, time to let him go
These comments reached many Celtic fans and they were left to fume at Schwarzer’s comments about their midfielder. They made their opinion very clear.
What planet is this clown living on??? Does he even watch many Celtic games. Rogic can’t even get a regular start in our team now and isn’t 1st choice. When he does play he lasts 60mins. Good player when on form but isn’t a 1st pick anymore. Schwarzer needs to come off it.

@schwarzer_mark
Hello mark, you were not bad on goals but know nothing about Scottish Football. Your opinion means nothing to Celtic fans. Tom Rogic is a celtic hero and will always be. #wizardofoz— chris (@Chrismartincfc) February 25, 2020
Not sure what games your watching but he has not played many games for the full 90 mins for Celtic

Not tested enough. He is never fit! #chocolate

With all due respect @schwarzer_mark, this commentary could only come from someone who hadn’t followed us.
Our style of play and level of competition has developed Moussa Dembele, VVD, Edouard & more. Rogic and Arzani, great players, have suffered with injury – not the league.

He can’t even get in the team

Celtic had signed Rogic from Central Coast Mariners in the winter of 2013 for a fee of £400,000. Since joining, Rogic has made 185 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 37 times.
What do we think?
Since the start of the 2017-18 season, Rogic has missed 44 games due to knee injuries. It perhaps shows that Schwarzer isn’t right about the player. He has to play regularly to get praise from fans, who are right to slam Schwarzer for his comments.
