Best goal I’ve seen in the flesh at St. Andrews by a Blues player. The place was bouncing when that went in.

What do we think?
Larsson featured significantly in Birmingham’s successful promotion-winning campaign of 2006/07. The Swede made 43 Championship appearances for the Blues during that historic season. The ex-player, who now plies his trade in his native Sweden with AIK, scored just four goals for the club that season, however, this Goal-of-the-Season-winning strike may be the most memorable one of the campaign.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Larsson made a total of 203 appearances for Birmingham City over a period of five seasons with the club. In addition to his Goal of the Season winner from the 2006/07 season, Larsson subsequently won another Goal of the Season award along with the club’s Player of the Season award in the following campaign.
