Some Birmingham City fans have been gushing over Scott Hogan following the Blues’ recent Championship fixture versus Sheffield Wednesday.
Hogan contributed one goal and one assist to the Blues’ action-packed 3-3 draw with Sheffield Wednesday. Injury concerns surrounded the 27-year-old attacker in the build-up to Saturday’s fixture.
After Hogan suffered an ankle injury in the Blues’ game versus Brentford the Saturday before last, Birmingham City manager Pep Clotet admitted that the club didn’t “know if he will be available” for their game versus Sheffield Wednesday.
It will have been a relief for Blues fans to see Hogan’s name on the teamsheet this past weekend. Hogan was fit enough to play the full game for Birmingham and scored a 91st-minute goal to level the score at 3-3, helping the Blues to earn a point.
Some Birmingham fans were quick to praise Hogan’s performance in the aftermath of Saturday’s fixture. Read the positive messages from some supporttowards Hogan in the tweets below.

What do we think?
Hogan’s 91st-minute equaliser gave the Irish international his fourth Birmingham City goal in his five Championship appearances for the Blues thus far since signing for the club on loan in January.
His goals have been important in helping the Blues to continue an undefeated streak which now stands at 11 straight games in all competitions. Hogan’s form since joining the Blues may also be helping him to quickly endear himself to the Birmingham City faithful.
