Do you believe that Allan Saint-Maximin would be a suitable replacement for Adama Traore?Yes, he has massive potentialNo, Traore is irreplaceable for us |
During this season, the French winger has featured in 18 games for the Toon, during which he has bagged two goals and two assists (per Transfermarkt).
With Wolves’ 24-year-old attacker having a more impressive five goals and ten assists over 39 appearances in all competitions (per Transfermarkt), though, some supporters were not convinced.
Similar hair does not a Traore make! Hope he stays!

What do we think?
Over the duration of this season, Adama Traore has a 7.66/10 average rating in the Premier League (as per WhoScored) and Saint-Maximin falls some way short of that with a 7.15/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
As the Frenchman is two years the junior of Traore, though, his average rating is by no means poor and could show that the Toon winger has the potential to be a suitable replacement with further coaching.
