Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers were left relieved following a tweet shared by Tim Spiers after concerns over Nuno Espirito Santo’s contract.
Panic arose amongst Wolves supporters after Nuno Santo stated: “I didn’t have any proposal” on a new contract with the Portuguese manager only having a season left after this one on his current deal (per Express and Star), however, Spiers was on hand to calm nerves.
Nuno's contract hasn't been a "live" issue for Wolves. Would expect it to be resolved in the summer. He's the most important man at the club and Fosun do not underestimate that importance – safe to say he'll be offered a new deal. #WWFC

Its the press trying to make a story out of nothing. He is the most important person at Wolves. The players, staff, fans and Fosun know that.

Have Wolves' successes been mostly down to Nuno Espirito Santo?Yes, he has been a miracle workerNo, because of financial backing |
The Portuguese 46-year-old has been at the helm of the Molineux club since the summer of 2017, since then he has overseen 139 matches with a points per game average of 1.81 (per Transfermarkt).
In his first season at the club, Wolves were promoted as Championship champions and a season later qualified for the Europa League in the first term back in the top flight (per Transfermarkt), leaving fans peased with Spiers’ news.
Nuno will never discuss this he’ll just sign, his soul is with this project, its more than a job, anyone doubting he’ll sign does not get his philosophy, Nuno has a dream…..

Most important job for the summer is to secure long contract with salary that reflects how important he is to the club.

What do we think?
If what Tim Spiers has stated is correct and ‘Fosun do not underestimate the importance’ of their Portuguese gaffer (per Tim Spiers), then there seems little for Wolves fans to worry about.
Judging from the responses from the supporters, they believe that Nuno Santo is the key to all of the success that Wolves have been enjoying and long may that continue.
