Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to quotes made by Espanyol’s manager, Abelardo Fernandez, which were relayed by Joe Edwards.
On Wednesday, the Express and Star journalist relayed the quotes from the 49-year-old Spaniard, in which he stated that his side was not there “for sightseeing or as tourists” (per Joe Edwards), which had supporters puzzled.
Espanyol boss Abelardo on Wolves: "It's going to be an exciting encounter. We're not here just for sightseeing or as tourists, we want to win or take a positive result back with us. We know Wolves are a very, very good side. But we are here and taking it seriously." #wwfc

To reach the round of 32 stage of the competition, the La Liga side topped Group H, which consisted of Ludogorets, Ferencvarosi TC and CSKA Moscow (as per UEFA).
With the first of two legs set to take place at Molineux tonight (per Sky Sports), some fans continued to air their confusion over what Fernandez meant on the “sights” of Wolverhampton.

What do we think?
While, clearly, many supporters have picked up on the Spanish manager stating that his side was not there for “sightseeing” he is likely to mean more of the “we are here and taking it seriously” message (per Joe Edwards).
Either way, it should be an interesting tie between the two sides, although Wolves may feel as though they have the upper hand with Espanyol currently sitting bottom of the La Liga table (per BBC).
