Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers were left furious following an announcement from the club on tickets for the Europa League away leg against Espanyol.
On Monday morning, the Old Gold announced that there would be ’16 ticket sale dates’ for the 2,126-strong allocation for the second leg for their round-of-32 clash with the La Liga outfit (per Wolves), which had fans furious.
Tuesday is the first of 16 ticket sale dates, with 2,126 tickets being made available in total for the last 32 second leg on Thursday 27th February.

What a complete farce.

Bit weird how they keep mentioning the 2126, we all know there’s not that many available after last weeks sales.

Oh dear oh dear. Lessons must be learnt @FansParliament

Are you frustrated with how the ticketing has been structured for Wolves' clash with Espanyol?Yes, it's been a bit of a farceNo, not really the club's fault |
The announcement seemed to raise a number of frustrations amongst supporters – those being the low number of tickets on sale, the price of £38.50 and the organisation of the points system (via Wolves).
With a number of issues for supporters, fans continued to air their rage over the club’s Twitter announcement.
On the extremely remote chance that there are any tickets left by the time it gets to members, those who’ve done 30 games this season are in the same pot as those who’ve simply paid £30 to get 100 points?! That’s not a very good reward for those who come to every game! ?

Been a bit of a shambles this!

The organisation of this has been so poor. Lessons must be learnt.

Any idea of letting us know how many people are on each points level, can’t be that hard in this day and age.

What do we think?
With the allocation of just 2,126 (per Wolves), it seems a little like the Old Gold have had their hands tied with this one, as there will be a much greater demand than supply.
The pricing of the tickets is also out of the Molineux club’s hands, so while it is unfortunate how the ticketing has been organised, the blame does not solely lie with Wolves.
