Supporters of West Ham United have been gushing over the Hammers’ midfielder, Pablo Fornals, after a club post on the Spaniard.
On Tuesday afternoon, the club shared a post with quotes from the 24-year-old in which he thanked fans for their support and aired that it is because of them that the players keep belief (per West Ham), which had fans praising him.
“When I scored, I wanted to go to our fans. Every single day, they support me. Thank you to all our supporters, who never stopped. We need them every time and it is because of them we have belief.”

Should Pablo Fornals be given a start against Southampton on Saturday?Yes, he absolutely shouldNo, he's not good enough |
The Irons signed Fornals on a five-year contract over the summer in a £24-million deal from La Liga outfit Villarreal (as per BBC).
Since his arrival in London, the Spaniard has featured in 28 games in all competitions, during which he has scored three goals and assisted three (per Transfermarkt).
However, having featured for only 114 minutes in his side’s last five Premier League outings (per Transfermarkt), supporters were frustrated that David Moyes had not played the 24-year-old more often.
Hopefully Moyes can actually start him now

unbelievable this man was left out last weekend, yes he needs a bit of time to adjust to a new league but always seems to be in the right place for a midfielder when the ball should drop in and around the box, keep up the good work @pablofornals ???

No excuses for not starting him, he has the quality and passion we need to stay up!

What do we think?
Despite receiving a large amount of praise from supporters, Fornals, who is valued at £19.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), has been the tenth-worst performer in the Premier League for West Ham so far this term, with a 6.45/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
In the clash at Anfield, though, the Spaniard picked up a respectable 7/10 performance rating after coming on as a substitute (per football.london), which would explain the praise from supporters.
