Supporters of West Ham United have slated Sebastien Haller following the 3-3 draw at home to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
During the clash with the Seagulls, the Frenchman picked up a weak rating of 5/10 (per football.london), as he was perceived to have had little involvement, leaving fans frustrated.
I seriously cannot get over how lazy and careless Sebastien Haller has been in recent times, deserves to be dropped but I can’t see it. To be fair, could do with his aggressive side against city, but annoyingly won’t show.

Spotted Sebastien Haller in the park this morning on a walk. Was quite windy so was moving more than yesterday against Brighton #westham pic.twitter.com/6GhtQeCQFe

Haller was a total disgrace for 90 minutes.
No fight, no drive.
Get rid.

Haller looks completely devoid of interest or enthusiasm to fight for the West Ham cause. Another player who merely turns up to play for the club as a job and a way to ensure his incredible earnings are paid for each month. Bowen and Antonio should start up front next game.

Has Sebastien Haller been a disappointment since his summer arrival?Yes, he's just not been good enoughNo, he is showing signs of promise |
Since his summer arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt for a club-record fee of £45 million (per BBC), the 25-year-old has featured in 26 games in all competitions, in which he has scored six goals and assisted two (per Transfermarkt).
His average rating across the season has been a respectable one, though, with a 7.16/10 (per WhoScored), although fans were still not happy with their French forward.
dave , i have defended haller , and its obvious he is a better player with two up top , but mate yesterday ( and since xmas ) he has let himself down , going through the motions , he has lost interest and is a passenger , yesterday looked the least threatening player in our side

Haller is one of the worst strikers I’ve ever seen at west ham. He ain’t worth 45p let alone 45mill. He don’t deserve his wage and he don’t deserve to wear that shirt

Haller is useless no fight no effort and a bad attitude should have got shot and used the money in the window. Made Glen Murray look world class

What do we think?
While Haller may not yet be repaying the £45 million outlay that it took to get him to the London Stadium (per BBC), his 7.17/10 average rating would suggest that he is showing signs of promise.
Hopefully, with the arrival of Jarrod Bowen on transfer deadline day (per BBC), the pair can link up to be a formidable force in the Hammers’ attack.
