Who would you rather have owning West Ham United? The current ownership![]() Saudi-backed consortium![]() |
With the West Ham faithful currently intent on finding different owners for the club, having protested over the current ownership (per The Telegraph), some were keen for the takeover.
However, others were not so sure on the Saudi Arabian-backed consortium over their stalling talks with Newcastle (per Football Insider) and felt that the move would not be one to improve the club.
They didn’t have the money for Newcastle…. how they gonna afford us?

What do we think?
This one seems a little pie in the sky, to say the least, however, it is clear that fans are divided over the reported interest despite wanting the current ownership out (as per Daily Mail).
The sale of Newcastle United to the consortium was at one point ‘90% certain’ (per The Guardian), so it seems strange that things would have become derailed since.
