Supporters of West Ham United have predicted a summer exit for Declan Rice due to the club’s lowly position in the league table.
Following the Hammers’ 3-3 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, the club has been left in the Premier League’s relegation zone, trailing Aston Villa by one point (per BBC), leaving fans to contemplate one of their aces.
He'll 100% be off this summer, don't blame him. pic.twitter.com/EN1eRM14i2

Gives his all every game coupled with so much ability. Feel so sorry for him he has to play with people who don’t even remotely care about the club. Haller, Masuaku and diop are the immediate names that spring to mind

I hope he does for his personal development and career. This club with these toxic owners and inept management will ruin him.@_DeclanRice @davidgold @WestHam

Deserves better than relegation. It’ll be sad to see him go but he deserves better

Do you believe that Declan Rice would leave West Ham in they were to get relegated?Yes, without a doubtNo, he's loyal to us |
Over the duration of his senior career with West Ham, the 21-year-old Englishman has made 96 appearances for the London club, in which he has scored two and assisted two (per Transfermarkt).
This season, while David Moyes’ side has struggled, Rice has a respectable 6.94/10 average rating (per WhoScored), leaving many to feel as though he deserves better.
And I’d 100% support him if he left.

What do we think?
Despite West Ham having a poor season so far (per BBC), it is clear that Rice has been one of the few highlights due to his respectable average rating (per WhoScored).
However, the 21-year-old will have to take some responsibility as being one of the side’s better players to step up and try and guide the side to swerve the drop.
