Fans of West Ham United have fumed after a Twitter post from Daniel Gabbidon following the Hammers’ 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
On Wednesday night, the 40-year-old Welshman tweeted slating the fact that Sebastien Haller, Felipe Anderson or Manuel Lanzini were not substituted on (per Daniel Gabbidon), which incurred a fume from supporters.
Imagine being desperate for points, being 2-0 down and not bringing on Haller, Anderson or Lanzini. If that’s not accepting defeat I don’t know what is! Or does he think these boys dont have the stomach for the fight?
Worrying. ?

Moyes was deemed not good enough 18 months ago with no EPL club willing to touch him yet the board now think he is the man to lead us forward. The lack of direction & indecisiveness comes from the top and filtered down into every aspect of the club

Do you think he has questions to answer? He sent a team out there with a negative mindset and negative tactics. We lost the game before it started. This should be explored more by football pundits. It’s like he threw the game.

You know dan. This is only going one way. Every player watching that tonight is confident they are beating us, every one. I can take not being good enough, they turned up for a cup final and played a testimonial match. It is not good enough

Does the West Ham squad have enough fight and spirit to beat the drop?Yes, we have enough about usNo, we're absolutely doomed |
The former central defender spent six years with the Irons between 2005 and 2011, arriving from Cardiff City and departing the club for Queens Park Rangers (per Transfermarkt).
During his six-year period at Upton Park, Gabbidon made 113 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions (per Transfermarkt) and supporters could not help but share the Welshman’s fury.
More importantly if your not going to play them or rest them, play Fornals who has been a breath of fresh air in last 5/6 games he starts . Complete stupidity

Why is it every ex pro / pundit / fan says the same thing and can see this but the manager and his staff can’t.

Bad manager bad decisions negative strategy ! No@momentum we are relegated already so sad

This is the exact reason why West Ham should sack Moyes today…completely out of touch in modern day management!

What do we think?
Since Moyes’ appointment in late December, the Hammers have not won in the league since his first game in charge, the 4-0 victory over Bournemouth (per BBC).
With a record of four defeats, two draws and a victory in the Premier League since Moyes’ arrival (per Sky Sports), it is perhaps no surprise that so many West Ham supporters are fearing for the clubs spot in England’s top flight.
