Supporters of West Ham United have been discussing Declan Rice after quotes were made by David Moyes on the Englishman.
On Sunday afternoon, the Hammers’ official Twitter account posted some quotes from an interview with the club’s manager in which he called Rice someone who they want to be a “main player” (per West Ham), which had fans discussing the 21-year-old.
? Moyes: "When you’re in the team and you’re a young player it’s not easy, but you get judged very quickly. I think @_DeclanRice is one of the players we are looking to be our main player and that’s why he’s getting selected for England."

Main player? He will be off after we get relegated

Rice is a world class prospect, however one player cannot disguise the failings of the team as a whole this season, however good they are. I sadly fear he won’t be with us next season. Same with Grealish at Villa.

He’s currently showing the attitude of he won’t accept what’s happening and doing is all to get out of it. That’s why he’s a top player. Shame about the majority of the rest. He’ll go in the Summer, even if we do stay up.

If we’re relegated , he’s gonna be the first to go ? … what’s the plan for tomorrow ??

Will Declan Rice still be a West Ham player by the beginning of next season?Yes, he is incredibly loyalNo, will be at a bigger club |
In recent weeks there had been some speculation that Moyes had rated the Englishman at £90 million should the club be relegated or face bids for Rice in the summer (as per Claret and Hugh).
So, while some supporters were airing their concern that the Englishman may be set to leave the club, others were frustrated that Moyes had outlined the starlet as a “main player” but had still put a price tag on his head.
So why does Moyes talk about selling him , the muppet

Can you not talk about selling him then cheers??

Then why does he want to sell him for £90m this summer?

What do we think?
Judging from the responses there are two things that are clear, one being that supporters believe that Rice is a fantastic young talent and the other being that they are worried about his potential sale.
While the report on a £90-million price tag being on his head (per Claret and Hugh) is still unconfirmed. It is difficult to speculate where the young Englishman’s future lies.
