Spurs fans were treated to the news that Moussa Sissoko has this week commenced on-field rehabilitation.
The French midfielder has been out since January with a knee injury but could still face another five weeks or so on the sidelines until he returns to first-team action. The news that the 30-year-old has started on-field rehabilitation was shared originally by Alasdair Gold, before being re-posted by Spurs fan account Daily Hotspur.
Jose Mourinho has also provided an update on the midfielder.
So far this season, Sissoko has made 26 appearances in all competitions for the North London club; scoring on two occasions and averaging a disappointing 6.64 rating. Since signing from Newcastle United in 2016, the Frenchman has gone on to make 151 appearances for Spurs; scoring just four times, which makes his two goals under Jose Mourinho this season even more impressive.

Sissoko up front! We could do worse?! May not be a finisher, but I get he could hold the ball up for Bergwijn, Lucas and Dele!

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted to hear that the £22.5 million rated man is making progress in his recovery and will be hoping to see him back fit as soon as possible.
What do we think?
Sissoko is still some way off being fully fit but it can only be good news for Mourinho that a player with his Premier League experience is edging closer to a return.
