Spurs fans have been reacting to some quotes from on-loan Newcastle United man Danny Rose about Jose Mourinho and the situation at the North London club.
The 29-year-old, who joined Steve Bruce’s side during the January transfer window, spoke last week about his departure from the North London club, saying: “I saw me going as soon as Mauricio lost his job. I wish Jose the best of luck. I wish Tottenham the best of luck. I hope they get into the top four this season and do well in the FA Cup. Obviously, I will look out for their results.” per Sky Sports via LastWordonSpurs
The England international has made 214 appearances for the North London club but departed in January after a reported fall-out with Mourinho. Things aren’t going to plan for Rose so far at his new club; having disappointed in defeats against Arsenal and Crystal Palace respectively.
Do you think Rose should just focus on Newcastle?

I really liked him but when can he stop talking about us and focusing on his new challenge?

The most painful thing is that rose knows how bad he is .. poch really kept alot of players that are no longer good enough.. is not a charity.. wanyama, rose, Dier, Jan, all of them we cant use them anymore..
As much as I love them all and adore them all but that’s the truth— Hussam #levyout (@Gazzanigatot) February 24, 2020
I admire the effort he gave, much like Eriksen but I’m sick of hearing his name. Hes no more at spurs so no longer interested.

Is he still talking?! You might’ve thought that he’d focus on Newcastle!

It seems as if a lot of Spurs fans are sick of hearing from Rose and would prefer it if he focused on his new side.
What do we think?
It’s a shame that so many fans are seemingly set against Rose, as this was a classy message for him to send and if he does impress in his spell with Newcastle, then perhaps there will be a place for him in a future Spurs side.
