Spurs fans were delighted to hear some of Jose Mourinho’s quotes discussing his plans for the North London club next season.
The Portuguese manager spoke to Sky Sports about his plans for next season, saying: “I look forward to the next season. I want to start working with them in July, I want to have a pre-season, I want to have friendly matches. I want to have a revolution of the team in areas we cannot do now. I’m so happy to be at #thfc.” (via Daily Hotspur).
The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss joined Spurs in November after Mauricio Pochettino was sacked and has helped push his new side up to sixth in the Premier League table. The 56-year-old manager will take charge of his first pre-season at the North London club in the summer and by the sounds of things, he has a lot of things planned already.
Do you think Mourinho can turn Spurs into title challengers next season?

Basically he’s saying this season is a write off and we start afresh next season with better players and positions we need strengthening in. And then hopefully the winner that is Mourinho will bring success and trophies to the club.

Providing Levy gives our Spurs Special One his full financial backing, next season will see Spurs evolve into a team to be reckoned with. COYS

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted with Mourinho’s quotes and feel that if Daniel Levy backs his manager in the summer transfer window, then they could be in for a successful season.
What do we think?
If Mourinho is given sufficient funds to improve his squad over the summer, then there is no reason why the North London club can’t aim potentially even higher than a Champions League spot ahead of the 2020/21 season.
