Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Harry Kane after he shared his thoughts on the 1-0 defeat to RB Leipzig, as well as wishing former striker Jimmy Greaves a happy birthday.
The England striker shared the video of him presenting a gift to some of Greaves’ family members and reassured fans that the tie is only at half-time. The 26-year-old has been out injured with a hamstring tear since the start of January but the North London club failed to bring in a recognised striker as a replacement during last month’s transfer window.
Despite having spent nearly six weeks on the sidelines, the England captain is still Spurs’ top scorer for the campaign, having hit 17 goals in all competitions this season. Unfortunately for the North London club, Kane’s closest competitor Heung-Min Son, who has 16 goals, was also ruled out for a significant period after suffering a fractured arm injury earlier this week.
Will Kane become Spurs' all time top scorer?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to Kane’s tweet can be seen in the tweets below.
Only half time? We are out. We aren’t going there and scoring. Levy has failed us, he’s failed the players, he’s failed the managers. How can we go into a season with just one striker who misses a third of every season and think we don’t need some back up? #enicout season is dead

These Spurs fans were quick to comment on Kane’s tweet, with many discussing how much they missed the striker.
What do we think?
It was nice to see Kane celebrating Greaves’ birthday with his family and surely it is only a matter of time until the 26-year-old overtakes the legendary striker as Spurs’ all-time top scorer.
