Lots of Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an image of former midfielder Mousa Dembele enjoying a meal with Jan Vertonghen.
The two Belgians were pictured having a meal together (via LastWordonSpurs) and many fans have been commenting that they want to see the midfielder back at the club. Dembele originally joined Spurs from Fulham in 2012 and went on to make 249 appearances for the North London club before making the move to China in January of last year.
The 32-year-old was joined by former club and country teammate Jan Vertonghen, who could be set to depart the Premier League side himself with his contract expiring at the end of the season. Dembele enjoyed a fruitful 2019 season in China, averaging a 7.41 rating for his performances in the Super League (as per WhoScored).

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the image of Dembele and would love to see him back at the club, whilst one fan speculated that Vertonghen could join his former teammate in China next season.
What do we think?
Dembele struggled with injuries during his time at Spurs, but is clearly still a fan favourite despite contributing just 10 goals and 12 assists in his time at the club.
