Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that Anthony Joshua’s return to the boxing ring will be staged at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Sports promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed per Daily Mirror (via Ricky Sacks) that Spurs had beaten North London rivals Arsenal to the honour of hosting Joshua’s fight against Kubrat Pulev following the culmination of the Premier League season. Pulev will challenge Joshua for the IBF title during the match, which is expected to take place in June.
Spurs fans have been quick to discuss the financial benefits of the deal which will see the fight take place at the North London club during the summer, questioning how the money gained will be spent.
Do you think Levy will spend some of the money made on new players?

That is great news for the Club. Hopefully, this will help to attract a sponsor [@dazn] for the stadium, especially if boxing will have a regular spot in the future. A few more £’s from hosting to go towards investment in the squad.

These Spurs fans clearly want to see any money made from the Joshua Kulev fight reinvested in the squad ahead of next season.
What do we think?
It is a coup for Spurs to secure the Joshua fight, and perhaps if Levy is feeling generous, he will allow for some of the money made to be put into Jose Mourinho’s transfer budget during the summer transfer window.
