Spurs fans were shocked to hear that the club are reportedly lining up a move for Liverpool’s Adam Lallana in the summer.
According to Mail Sport (via Daily Hotspur), the 31-year-old will leave Anfield on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer, with Spurs, Arsenal and Leicester City all monitoring the situation. Spurs lost Christian Eriksen to Inter during the January transfer window and the former Southampton man could prove to be an experienced replacement in Jose Mourinho’s side.
Since joining the Reds from Southampton in 2014, Lallana has gone on to make 175 appearances for Liverpool; contributing 22 goals and 22 assists. Unsurprisingly, with Jurgen Klopp’s side performing miracles at the top of the league, the England international’s game time has suffered, with just seven starts in all competitions this season.
Would Lallana be a good signing for Spurs?

I hope that’s not true… don’t want him anywhere near my club

He and Lamela can compete for most minutes in the treatment room.

Probably a Lamela replacement as he’s always broken.

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too keen on potentially signing Lallana in the summer, with many fearing that his injuries would present a problem.
What do we think?
Lallana has a lot of experience in the Premier League, having played 194 times in the top division, as well as earning 34 caps for England. If Spurs can sign him on a free transfer, then the £10.8 million-rated man could yet prove to be an excellent member of Mourinho’s squad.
