Tottenham fans were treated to some exciting news this week after The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath tweeted out that Troy Parrott had agreed to a new three-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur. This news was soon spread by multiple Tottenham fan accounts, including Hotspur Related.
The 18-year-old striker has scored six goals and registered one assist in just four UEFA Youth League appearances so far this season. In all competitions, he has scored 10 goals in just 582 minutes of football. That averages out to a goal every 58 minutes.
When Hotspur Related relayed the news, fans were thrilled. With star striker Harry Kane out injured until the last couple of games of the season, it could be a great opportunity for the young forward to get some much-needed game time with the senior squad. Here are some of their reactions.

Massive news for the future! Only slight concern is only three years, we have to get him regular football/chances in that time to keep him at the club #thfc #coys

Do you think Troy Parrott deserves to start?
Yes
No
What do we think?
If Parrott is given a chance to play, perhaps he can force his way into contention, even when Kane is back fit. The player is only rated at £1.35 million on transfermarkt.co.uk, but his goal-scoring record suggests that he has a bright future ahead of him playing for Jose Mourinho’s side.
