Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Harry Winks during the summer transfer window.
According to Mirror Football (as relayed by Ricky Sacks on Twitter), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have identified the England international as a top summer transfer target. The report suggests that the Norwegian boss is looking to reshape his squad in the close season and Winks represents exactly the sort of profile player he wants to bring to the club.
The 24-year-old has struggled at times so far this season, averaging a disappointing 6.56 rating for his performances in the Premier League (as per WhoScored). Having advanced through Spurs’ youth academy, Winks has gone on to make 130 first-team appearances for the North London club, contributing just two goals and two assists in that time.
Would you be happy to see Winks join Manchester United?

Hilarious. Not sure what’s more unlikely – Winks going to United or Solskjaer still being in charge in the summer.

No thank you. How about Dier.

He’s a future captain. Impossible.

These Spurs fans clearly don’t want the midfielder to leave.
What do we think?
Winks is just 24 years old and has made six senior appearances for the national side, so arguably still has a lot of potential, which suggests that if Manchester United were to approach him, they may have to pay more than his current Transfermarkt value of £36 million. However, he is yet to score or assist this season for the North London club, so perhaps we could see him moved on in the summer.
