Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from the former winger and current Crystal Palace ace Andros Townsend after he reached 200 appearances in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old tweeted, saying “as a child I dreamt of playing one Premier League game… On Saturday I reached 200. Dreams do come true!” Of his 200 appearances in the Premier League, 93 came at Spurs in his spell there between 2008 and 2016, before he joined Newcastle United for around £20 million.
The Englishman, who is valued at £13.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), never really established himself as a regular in his time at Spurs but is still seemingly appreciated by Lilywhites fans, who were quick to congratulate the former international on his accomplishment.

These Spurs fans clearly appreciated Townsend’s time at the club and were happy to pass on their congratulations after his impressive achievement.
What do we think?
To reach one Premier League appearance is impressive enough, so to reach 200 is clearly a special moment for the £13.5 million rated man.
