Spurs fans have been reacting to some footage of former player Sandro after a video of him in the dressing room at the North London club emerged on Twitter.
The Spurs Web posted the video of the Brazilian midfielder, who made 106 appearances for the Lilywhites between 2010-2014, showing off his martial arts skills in the Spurs dressing room. The 30-year-old now resides at Brazilian side Goias having left Genoa during the January transfer window, suggesting that his career has gone downhill somewhat since leaving the Premier League.
Spurs, however, remain the club where Sandro has made the most appearances, with injuries and regular transfers perhaps stagnating the midfielder’s career and preventing him from reaching his potential.
Would you take an injury-free Sandro back at Spurs?

Wasted talent through injury.

Guy was a character, was immense for us before his injury then never looked the same. Similar to Wanyama. His celebration after scoring that wonder goal and then getting told off by Redknapp!

I LOVED Sandro! Could use him now….

Indeed, one fan even compared him to Victor Wanyama and described how the pair haven’t been/weren’t a permanent winning fixture. Sandro stated that he made the right decision to join QPR, with his injury being a reason that he states as it resulted in him losing time, which is similar to Wanyama and his injury problems.
He had a great season, just like Wanyama. Shame both weren’t nurtured by Spurs to become a permanent winning fixture. Rather harshly treated

These Spurs fans clearly rated Sandro and feel as if injuries ruined any chance he had of consistently being part of the first-team squad at the North London club.
What do we think?
The Brazilian midfielder is remarkably just 30 years old, and it seems as if injuries really did hamper his career, while he is currently valued at just £900,000 by Transfermarkt should Spurs ever be keen on bringing him back to the Premier League.
