Spurs fans were treated to some footage of Giovani Lo Celso from their original FA Cup tie against Southampton ahead of the replay on Wednesday night.
The video, which was shared by the club’s official Twitter account, shows the Argentina international beating his marker and breaking forward before playing a ball into Erik Lamela, who subsequently played in Heung-Min Son to open the scoring at St. Mary’s. Unfortunately for Spurs fans, Sofiane Boufal hit a late equaliser to set up the replay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Lo Celso has been a regular in the Spurs side of late, and his impressive recent performances convinced Jose Mourinho to trigger the club’s option to sign him permanently during the January transfer window. Fans will be hoping that the 23-year-old can produce a performance similar to the one in the original tie in tonight’s replay.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage of Lo Celso and will be hoping to see the 23-year-old maintain his strong recent form.
What do we think?
Lo Celso has been fantastic in recent fixtures and looks to be an excellent replacement for Christian Eriksen, who joined Inter in the January transfer window.
