Spurs fans have been reacting on Twitter to a video of Christian Eriksen’s free kick in the dying moments of Inter’s 2-1 defeat against Lazio.
The Danish international, who joined Antonio Conte’s side during the January transfer window, floated a late-free kick out of play in the key title battle clash against Lazio at the weekend. The video, which was originally posted by Days since Inter won a trophy on Twitter, before being shared with Spurs fans via The Spurs Web has gathered a lot of attention from supporters of the North London club.
Eriksen’s relationship with the fans at Spurs was perhaps alienated by his behaviour and performances towards the end of his career with the Premier League club. First, he confirmed his desire to leave last summer, before seeing his form seriously deteriorate this season; with the 28-year-old averaging a disappointing 6.51 rating for his performances in the Premier League.

These Spurs fans are seemingly split between laughing at Eriksen and urging others not to mock the former Spurs man.
What do we think?
It is never nice to see fans laughing at a player for his mistakes, especially considering that Eriksen made 305 appearances for the club during his time there; scoring 69 goals and contributing 89 assists.
