Spurs fans have been discussing whether or not they would choose to sell midfielder Dele Alli during the summer transfer window in order to raise funds.
COYS.com posted the question on Twitter and it has garnered a lot of responses from Spurs fans about whether or not the 23-year-old England international is worth keeping. Since joining Spurs from MK Dons in 2015, the creative midfielder has gone on to make 212 appearances for the North London club, contributing 61 goals and 53 assists.
His form this season, especially under Jose Mourinho, has been excellent at times, with the England international having averaged an impressive 7.05 rating in the Premier League, despite missing much of the early stages of the season thanks to a hamstring injury. Despite his form, it seems as if some fans are still keen to cash in on the £81 million-rated man this summer in order to raise funds for improving the squad.
Should Spurs sell Dele Alli?

No

Sell alli absolutely. Use the 50-100m we could get from him to rebuild like liverpool/coutinho scenario. But not son, kane etc as they are too valuable to us rn

Definately. Has regressed as a player. He is talented but lacks the desire I think.

These Spurs fans seemingly want to see the back of Dele Alli.
What do we think?
Unless Spurs need to sell Alli, then they may be unwise to do so, as although he hasn’t quite replicated his form from the 2016/17 season when he hit 18 goals in the Premier League, he is still only 23 years old and still has a lot of improving to do.
