Tottenham Hotspur fans have been responding on Twitter to former midfielder Christian Eriksen’s latest Twitter post.
This comes after the Danish international shared a post on his official page replying to a post shared by his current club Inter’s official Twitter page wishing the midfielder a happy birthday.

The 28-year-old, who is currently valued at £81 million according to Transfermarkt, joined Antonio Conte’s side in the recent January transfer window for a fee of £18 million. Eriksen made a total of 305 appearances for the North-London club since his arrival from Ajax in 2013. In those appearances, Eriksen scored 69 goals and provided 89 assists (per Transfermarkt). Now that the midfielder has shared a tweet replying to his side’s birthday message to him, this has led to numerous Spurs fans replying to his tweet with their messages for the player.

What do we think?
It’s nice to see these Tottenham fans taking the time out to send a nice message to Eriksen even though he isn’t a Spurs player anymore. This shows that there are still some Spurs fans out there that have some respect and admiration for the midfielder.
