A lot of Newcastle United fans reminisce about Sir Bobby Robson on what would have been his 87th birthday.
The former Toon boss passed away in 2009 aged 76 and he will always be fondly remembered by a lot of Newcastle fans.
Sir Bobby was in charge of 240 Toon matches and guided them to the UEFA Cup, where they reached the Semi-Finals in the 2003/04 season.
Robson was also England, Barcelona, and Ipswich Town manager and is said to have influenced the likes of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.
So many Toon fans are talking about Sir Bobby and talking about how he was such a great person.

He made me believe this club could achieve anything. Sadly that belief has been completely destroyed in the years since he was sacked

Biggest mistake Toon made, was getting rid of sir Bobby, I believe he could have took them on to glory, Freddie Shephard was wrong

What do we think?
There are not many people in the game held in such high esteem as Sir Bobby Robson, and it is good to see that he is still fondly remembered by those on Tyneside.
Newcastle was the last club that Robson managed before falling ill and passing away five years after he was sacked in 2004.
