Saint-Maximin, who is valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt, has only scored two goals and provided one assist in his 16 matches for Newcastle.
However, it is clear that without him in the side, the Magpies struggle to win games or even pick up the odd point.
The reason for this could lie in the Frenchman driving Newcastle up the pitch and allowing them to have territory further forward.
If he could add more end-product to his game, then he could become an even more important player for Steve Bruce’s men.
