A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a report in the Daily Mail that claims both Joelinton and Yoshinori Muto have returned to training ahead of the Toon’s clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
The report states that Muto has been suffering from a hip injury, while Joelinton was substituted in Newcastle’s 3-2 win over Oxford United with a rib problem.
Which player will have the most impact for Newcastle?
Joelinton
Muto
Both Muto and Joelinton have trained since Tuesday, though both Andy Carroll and Dwight Gayle remain unavailable.
However, it is the use of the word ‘boost’ that has these Toon fans talking – with many thinking that having both back is not necessarily a positive for their team.
#NUFC has been handed a double boost by the return to training of strikers Joelinton & Muto.
Joelinton was substituted during the FA Cup fourth round replay victory at Oxford with a rib injury, while Muto has been sidelined since the third round draw with Rochdale. [Daily Mail]

What do we think?
Joelinton, who is valued at £27m by Transfermarkt, has only scored three goals this season, and only one was in the Premier League.
This came back in August against Tottenham Hotspur, and since then, the 23-year-old has not scored a league goal.
Muto, who is valued at £6.3m by Transfermarkt, has only made nine appearances this season, and his last match in the league was on New Year’s Day when he played 90 minutes against Leicester City in the Magpies’ 3-0 defeat.
These Newcastle fans might not be too happy to have both back, but Steve Bruce now at least has two fit strikers for the Toon’s trip to the Emirates.
