It was reported (via the Liverpool Echo) during last month’s transfer window that Liverpool had no interest in bringing Aston Villa star Jack Grealish to the club, and although nothing has changed on that front, a social media post has sparked a discussion regarding the 24-year-old’s future amongst some Liverpool fans – and there was a mixed reaction.
Would you like to see Grealish in a Liverpool shirt?

He is like number 167 on my list of players to sign. So many better players in England and Germany, Italy and Spain.

Not a surprise really. Nowhere near good enough for Liverpool. Maybe sign for Man Utd, Sheffield United or someone similar…

What do we think?
Jack Grealish has been Aston Villa’s standout player this season, averaging a performance rating of 7.5/10 in the Premier League (via WhoScored.com). The Birmingham-born midfielder has scored seven times this season and provided five assists in his 23 league appearances to date.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, he is currently valued at £31.5m, though it appears Liverpool will not be involved in the battle for his signature. The media may speculate on those who may be coming in to or departing Anfield, but Jurgen Klopp’s immediate focus will surely be on securing their first-ever Premier League title and defending their Champions League crown.
