Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the latest update surrounding exiled man Loris Karius.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LivEchoLFC shared a post on their page that included a link to the Liverpool Echo’s live news and transfer blog.
Their 11:47 update revealed that Loris Karius is set to be dropped by Besiktas boss Sergen Yalcin according to Fotospor via Sport Witness because of the German’s enjoyment of the nightlife in Istanbul.
Have you forgiven Karius for his Real Madrid disaster?
Yes
No
This post then gathered numerous replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:
The more you hear and see about Karius outside of football it shocks me that Klopp and Edwards signed him with all the background checks they do. He’s a proper prima donna

The German goalkeeper, who is valued at £4.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), was shipped over to Besiktas after he dismantled Liverpool’s Champions League final against Real Madrid in 2018. Now that news has emerged that Karius looks set to be dropped from his current team for his exploits off the pitch, these Liverpool fans couldn’t wait to have their say on their former ‘keeper and his current situation.

Good thing is they have the will to get rid of him as soon as they could. Did cost us a CL title, but that doesn’t matter now though

What do we think?
Even though he is still technically a Liverpool player, it seems as though any move he makes will get the attention of some Reds fans. By letting the German leave the club on loan straight after his disastrous Champions League final, that gives the impression that the club’s well-known motto doesn’t apply to everyone.
